For each of following questions rate your job on a scale

If your answer is - Bothers me a little, give 1 point. 
If your answer is - bother me a lot, give 5 point


1. Deadlines are a daily part of my job.


2. After leaving the job, I generally complete work I have not had time for during the day (if yes mark 5)


3. I find it difficult to work with some of my co-workers.


4. I continue to allow myself to accept new job responsibilities without letting go of others.


5. There is little variety or challenge in my job.


6. I often feel overwhelmed with the demands of my job.


7. When I am under pressure I tend to lose my temper.


8. I have a problem completing work assignments because of the many interruptions.


9. I am concerned with the goal of being a perfect employee, spouse, and parent at the same time .


10. My job is at home. I cannot walk out and leave it at night (if yes mark 5).

Scoring: 

 Total your score for work stress.

If your score is below 12, you are probably dealing effectively with the pressures of work.

If your score is between 12 and 30 you may be experiencing some physical or mental signs of distress.

If your score is over 30, work stress is signalling danger ahead. “stress buffers” are needed immediately .
